The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
अनन्तस्यात्मतत्त्वस्य सर्वशक्तेर्महात्मनः ।
संकल्पशक्ति रचितं यद्रूपं तन्मनो विदुः ॥ ३ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
anantasyātmatattvasya sarvaśaktermahātmanaḥ |
saṃkalpaśakti racitaṃ yadrūpaṃ tanmano viduḥ || 3 ||

Vasishtha replied:—The nature of the mind is known to be composed of the property of Volition, which is an attribute of the infinite and almighty power of the Supreme soul.
