The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यो बद्धपदतां यातो जन्तोर्मनसि निश्चयः ।
स तेनैव विना ब्रह्मन्नान्येन विनिवार्यते ॥ १९ ॥

yo baddhapadatāṃ yāto jantormanasi niścayaḥ |
sa tenaiva vinā brahmannānyena vinivāryate || 19 ||

Whatever belief is deep-rooted in the minds of living beings, it is impossible to remove it by any body, except by its owner.
