The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इत्युक्तोऽथ मया भानुः संचिन्त्य सुचिरं धिया ।
इदमत्र वचो युक्तमुवाच स महामुने ॥ ४ ॥

ityukto'tha mayā bhānuḥ saṃcintya suciraṃ dhiyā |
idamatra vaco yuktamuvāca sa mahāmune || 4 ||

Now O great sage! the sun having long considered in his mind about what I wanted him to tell, replied to me in the following manner in appropriate words.
