The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उन्मज्जन्ति निमज्जन्ति प्रस्फुरन्ति पतन्ति च ।
तरङ्गा इव तोयानामिमाः प्रतिदिनं प्रजाः ॥ ४६ ॥

unmajjanti nimajjanti prasphuranti patanti ca |
taraṅgā iva toyānāmimāḥ pratidinaṃ prajāḥ || 46 ||

I find every day among all sorts of beings, some rising and falling, and others diving and floating, like the incessant waves of the sea.
