The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथ उत्फुल्लकमलकोशवक्रोन्नतासनः ।
ब्रह्माहं जगतां स्रष्टा कर्ता भोक्ता महेश्वरः ॥ ३८ ॥

atha utphullakamalakośavakronnatāsanaḥ |
brahmāhaṃ jagatāṃ sraṣṭā kartā bhoktā maheśvaraḥ || 38 ||

Here I sit on the pericarp of a full blown lotus, and find myself as Brahma—the great god, the creator and sustainer of the universe.
