The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ऐश्वर्याणां हि सर्वेषामाकल्पं न विनाशि यत् ।
रोचते भ्रातरस्तन्मे ब्रह्मत्वमिह नेतरत् ॥ ३१ ॥

aiśvaryāṇāṃ hi sarveṣāmākalpaṃ na vināśi yat |
rocate bhrātarastanme brahmatvamiha netarat || 31 ||

Of all kinds of riches and dignities, there is one thing that endureth for a whole kalpa, and is never destroyed; and this is the state of Brahma, which I prize above all others.
