The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चित्तादियमनर्थश्रीस्तच्च सा चेतरा च ते ।
मदुक्तिश्रवणादेव शान्तिमेष्यत्यसंशयम् ॥ १६ ॥

cittādiyamanarthaśrīstacca sā cetarā ca te |
maduktiśravaṇādeva śāntimeṣyatyasaṃśayam || 16 ||

You have a mind like that of the common people (itara), which is full of mistakes and blunders (anarthas); all which will doubtlessly subside in your mind, by your attending to my lectures.
