The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

त्रीणि वध्यसहस्राणि तानि तस्यै तदा ददौ ।
सा बभूव निशा काले सैवोग्रा कृष्णराक्षसी ॥ ५४ ॥

trīṇi vadhyasahasrāṇi tāni tasyai tadā dadau |
sā babhūva niśā kāle saivogrā kṛṣṇarākṣasī || 54 ||
