The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ततः संजातसौहार्दौ तौ विसृज्य निशाचरी ।
यदा गन्तुं प्रवृत्तासौ तदा राजाब्रवीद्वचः ॥ ३५ ॥

tataḥ saṃjātasauhārdau tau visṛjya niśācarī |
yadā gantuṃ pravṛttāsau tadā rājābravīdvacaḥ || 35 ||
