The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तस्मात्संप्राप्तवरया बहून्वर्षगणान्मया ।
भुक्ता विषूचिकात्वेन जनता जीवबाधनैः ॥ २४ ॥

tasmātsaṃprāptavarayā bahūnvarṣagaṇānmayā |
bhuktā viṣūcikātvena janatā jīvabādhanaiḥ || 24 ||

I obtained the boon accordingly, and passed a great many years in the act of afflicting living brings, and feeding upon their entrails in the form of the choleric pain.
