The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मातृमानप्रमेयाख्यं बुधो निगिरति त्रयम् ।
हेमेव कटकादित्वमसन्मयमुपस्थितम् ॥ ७७ ॥

mātṛmānaprameyākhyaṃ budho nigirati trayam |
hemeva kaṭakāditvamasanmayamupasthitam || 77 ||

The intelligent soul is absolved of its perceptions of the measure, measurer and measurables (i. e. of the forms and properties of things), as liquid gold when dissolved of its form of an ornament.
