The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.81.13

चिदणोरन्तरे यद्यदस्ति तद्दृश्यते बहिः ।
संकल्पेष्टालिङ्गनादिदृष्टान्तोऽत्र हि रागिणः ॥ १३ ॥

cidaṇorantare yadyadasti taddṛśyate bahiḥ |
saṃkalpeṣṭāliṅganādidṛṣṭānto'tra hi rāgiṇaḥ || 13 ||

Whatever is imprinted in the intellect, the same appears exprest without it. The fond embrace of passionate lovers in dream and imagination, serves to exemplify this truth.
