The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अणुत्वमजहत्सोऽणुर्जगद्रत्नसमुद्गकः ।
मातृमानप्रमेयात्म जगन्नास्तीति केवले ॥ ३३ ॥

aṇutvamajahatso'ṇurjagadratnasamudgakaḥ |
mātṛmānaprameyātma jagannāstīti kevale || 33 ||

The atomic spirit is the casket of the bright gem of the world, without changing its minuteness. The divine spirit is its measure and measurer, beside which there is no separate world of itself.
