The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

लतागुल्माङ्कुरादीनामनक्षाणां च पोषकः ।
उत्सेधवेदनाकारः प्रकाशोऽनुभवात्मकः ॥ ३१ ॥

latāgulmāṅkurādīnāmanakṣāṇāṃ ca poṣakaḥ |
utsedhavedanākāraḥ prakāśo'nubhavātmakaḥ || 31 ||

The eyeless vegetable creation, is sensible of an inward light within them, causing their growth and giving them the capability of bearing their fruits and flowers.
