The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रज्वलद्भास्वराकारान्निर्मलाद्गगनादपि ।
प्रज्वलच्चेतनैकात्मा तस्मादग्निः स जायते ॥ २७ ॥

prajvaladbhāsvarākārānnirmalādgaganādapi |
prajvalaccetanaikātmā tasmādagniḥ sa jāyate || 27 ||

The blazing intelligence of the divine soul, which is purer than the etherial sphere, produces the elemental fire by its presence.
