The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.80.21

गम्यो यस्य महादेशो यावत्संभवमक्षयः ।
अन्तस्थः सर्वकर्तुर्हिं स कथं क्वेव गच्छति ॥ २१ ॥

gamyo yasya mahādeśo yāvatsaṃbhavamakṣayaḥ |
antasthaḥ sarvakarturhiṃ sa kathaṃ kveva gacchati || 21 ||

One though free to range over large tracts at will, will never start from his own abode, where he has the liberty and power to do all he likes.
