The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रचलितवलिताञ्जनाचलाभा हिमगिरिपादनिवेशितं सुदेशम् ।
तदनुगतवती निशाचरी सा निशि सुघनान्धतमिस्रमार्गभूमौ ॥ १७ ॥

pracalitavalitāñjanācalābhā himagiripādaniveśitaṃ sudeśam |
tadanugatavatī niśācarī sā niśi sughanāndhatamisramārgabhūmau || 17 ||

The nocturnal fiend then walked her way, under the shade of the deep darkness of night, towards the habitation at the foot of Himalaya, in her form of the sable mount of Anjanagiri.
