The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.76.13

बोध्यमानो भवत्यापि यो न बोधमुपैष्यति ।
स्वनाशायैव जातोऽसौ न्याय्यो ग्रासो भवेत्तव ॥ १३ ॥

bodhyamāno bhavatyāpi yo na bodhamupaiṣyati |
svanāśāyaiva jāto'sau nyāyyo grāso bhavettava || 13 ||

Whosoever will not receive this knowledge (of lawful food), when it is imparted to him by thee, make him verily the object of thy derision, and take him as being a right meat and proper food for thee."
