The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.76.11

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
एवं स्थिता मौनवती शुश्राव गगनाद्गिरम् ।
रक्षःस्वरूपसंत्यागतुष्टेनोक्तां नभस्वता ॥ ११ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
evaṃ sthitā maunavatī śuśrāva gaganādgiram |
rakṣaḥsvarūpasaṃtyāgatuṣṭenoktāṃ nabhasvatā || 11 ||

Vasishtha resumed:—As she was uttering these words, in silence to herself, she heard a voice in the air, coming from the god of winds, who was pleased at the renunciation of her fiendish disposition.
