The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.75.20

प्रादेशः प्रथममभूत्ततोऽपि हस्तो व्यामश्चाप्यथ विटपस्ततोऽभ्रमाला ।
सोद्यत्स्वावयवलता बभौ निमेषात्संकल्पद्रुमकणिकाङ्कुरक्रमेण ॥ २० ॥

prādeśaḥ prathamamabhūttato'pi hasto vyāmaścāpyatha viṭapastato'bhramālā |
sodyatsvāvayavalatā babhau nimeṣātsaṃkalpadrumakaṇikāṅkurakrameṇa || 20 ||

She came to be of the measure of a span at first, and then of a cubit; and next a full fathom in length; and increasing fastly in her height, she grew up as a tree; till at last she was of the form of a cloud. She had all the members of the body added to her instantly, in the manner of the growth of the arbour of human desire.
