The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तां प्रेक्ष्य पवनः सूचीं विस्मयाकुलचेतनः ।
प्रणम्यालोक्य सुचिरं भीतभीत इवागतः ॥ ७ ॥

tāṃ prekṣya pavanaḥ sūcīṃ vismayākulacetanaḥ |
praṇamyālokya suciraṃ bhītabhīta ivāgataḥ || 7 ||

The god of air was astonished to see Suchi in this state; he bowed down to her and was struck with terror as he beheld her more earnestly.
