The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इक्षूदकाब्धिपरिखं शान्तं गिरिगणान्तरम् ।
क्रौञ्चद्वीपोर्वरापीठं शान्तं गतगिरिक्रमम् ॥ ५५ ॥

ikṣūdakābdhiparikhaṃ śāntaṃ girigaṇāntaram |
krauñcadvīporvarāpīṭhaṃ śāntaṃ gatagirikramam || 55 ||

He beheld also the fertile and peaceful continent of Kraunchadwipa, bounded by the sweet Saccharine sea, and beset by a range of mountains.
