The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.73.42

खगदेहान्निर्जगाम सूची प्रोन्मुखचेतना ।
पवनाद्गन्धलेखेव घ्राणवातलवोन्मुखी ॥ ४२ ॥

khagadehānnirjagāma sūcī pronmukhacetanā |
pavanādgandhalekheva ghrāṇavātalavonmukhī || 42 ||

Suchi issued from the body of the bird, in the manner of the spirit coming out of it, and the intellect aspiring to higher regions; and as the particles of fragrance fly upon the wings of winds, in order to meet the breath of the nostrils to be borne into the nose.
