The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उत्थितां स्थापितां सूचीं गृध्रेण जीवसूचिका ।
दृष्ट्वा बहिर्विनिर्गन्तुं खगदेहात्प्रचक्रमे ॥ ४१ ॥

utthitāṃ sthāpitāṃ sūcīṃ gṛdhreṇa jīvasūcikā |
dṛṣṭvā bahirvinirgantuṃ khagadehātpracakrame || 41 ||

The bird seeing the living Suchi coming out of his body, and standing on the mountain as a statue, fled away and disappeared from that place.
