The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.73.38

तत्राजने महारण्ये स्थापयामास तामसौ ।
सर्वसंकल्परहिते पदे योगीव चेतनाम् ॥ ३८ ॥

tatrājane mahāraṇye sthāpayāmāsa tāmasau |
sarvasaṃkalparahite pade yogīva cetanām || 38 ||

It sat there on a spot of the solitary forest in its state of asceticism, seeming to be freed from all desires of the world.
