The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.73.31

एवं प्रयतमाना सा विहरन्ती दिशो दश ।
मानसीं तृप्तिमायाता न शारीरीं कदाचन ॥ ३१ ॥

evaṃ prayatamānā sā viharantī diśo daśa |
mānasīṃ tṛptimāyātā na śārīrīṃ kadācana || 31 ||

With the intention of satisfying her thirst, she travelled to all parts and quarters (in her form of the poor needle); but derived more of the mental pleasure of experience, than the satisfaction of her corporeal appetites.
