The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.73.11

चर्वितानि शवाङ्गानि गृध्र्याऽऽगर्तानि वृद्धया ।
खड्गपृष्ठ्येव संग्रामे वीराङ्गानि जवेद्धया ॥ ११ ॥

carvitāni śavāṅgāni gṛdhryā''gartāni vṛddhayā |
khaḍgapṛṣṭhyeva saṃgrāme vīrāṅgāni javeddhayā || 11 ||

She devours in the form of vultures, the entrails of the dead bodies of warriors, through the notches made in them, by blades of swords in warfare.
