The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.73.6

यस्यां नाड्यां नभोवायुर्माति तत्तामुपेतया ।
तत्र शूलं कृतं स्थूलन्यग्रोधाग्र इवोत्कटम् ॥ ६ ॥

yasyāṃ nāḍyāṃ nabhovāyurmāti tattāmupetayā |
tatra śūlaṃ kṛtaṃ sthūlanyagrodhāgra ivotkaṭam || 6 ||

It enters the intestines with the breath of the air, and there settles in the form of flatulent colic; afterwards being seated at the end of the nyagrodha artery, it forms the plethoric colic with fulness of blood and inflammation.
