The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
सूची सा संभवद्वाणी चिन्तयित्वेत्यकम्पनम् ।
पुनस्तद्देहलाभाय भवाम्याशु तपस्विनी ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
sūcī sā saṃbhavadvāṇī cintayitvetyakampanam |
punastaddehalābhāya bhavāmyāśu tapasvinī || 1 ||

Vasishtha continued:—Afterwards Suchi became silent and motionless, and thought of resuming her austerities for the sake of regaining her long lost body.
