The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हा स्कन्ध बन्धो नष्टोऽसि निषिद्धोऽसि महीतले ।
कालेन विनिपिष्टोऽसि निघृष्टोऽसि शिलातले ॥ ३८ ॥

hā skandha bandho naṣṭo'si niṣiddho'si mahītale |
kālena vinipiṣṭo'si nighṛṣṭo'si śilātale || 38 ||

O my shoulder blades! are ye broken down and levelled with the earth? or are ye crushed and smashed or mouldered and worn out by age?
