The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

संचार्यमाणवेधेन धावन्तीवाक्षिपातने ।
अदर्शितमुखा एव दुर्जना मर्मवेधिनः ॥ ६० ॥

saṃcāryamāṇavedhena dhāvantīvākṣipātane |
adarśitamukhā eva durjanā marmavedhinaḥ || 60 ||

The colic Suchi went on like the sewing needle, in her business of piercing the hearts of people by hiding her head; as it is the practice of robbers to carry on their rogueries, by covering their faces.
