The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.70.35

कस्यचित्तनुदेहस्य स्वस्थस्य सुधियोऽपि वा ।
प्रविश्य जीवसूचित्वे भवत्यन्तर्विषूचिका ॥ ३५ ॥

kasyacittanudehasya svasthasya sudhiyo'pi vā |
praviśya jīvasūcitve bhavatyantarviṣūcikā || 35 ||

Sometimes she enters in the body of some lean person, as also in those of healthy and wise people; and appearing at first as a choleraic pain, becomes a real cholera at last.
