The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सा बभूवाभ्रमालायाः समासं स्तम्भिताकृतिः ।
कृष्णोर्ध्वगोर्ध्वकेशी च खमाहर्तुमिवोद्गता ॥ १९ ॥

sā babhūvābhramālāyāḥ samāsaṃ stambhitākṛtiḥ |
kṛṣṇordhvagordhvakeśī ca khamāhartumivodgatā || 19 ||

She with her huge black body, remained unmoved as a thick sable cloud, on the mountain top; and her jet black hairs stood up as if to touch the sky.
