The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जम्बूद्वीपगतान्सर्वान्निगिरामि जनान्यदि ।
अनारतमनुश्वासं जलराशिमिवार्णवः ॥ ११ ॥

jambūdvīpagatānsarvānnigirāmi janānyadi |
anāratamanuśvāsaṃ jalarāśimivārṇavaḥ || 11 ||

She thought in herself saying said:—Oh! if I could but once go to the Jambu-dwipa—the land of Asia, I would devour all its men in one swoop, and feast on them continually, like the submarine fire upon the waters.
