The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एवमेव स जीवात्मा स्वप्नात्मा समुपस्थितः ।
पितामहत्वमुच्छूनं पश्यन्नात्मनि कालतः ॥ ६३ ॥

evameva sa jīvātmā svapnātmā samupasthitaḥ |
pitāmahatvamucchūnaṃ paśyannātmani kālataḥ || 63 ||

But to resume our subject; the living soul afterwards appeared from Him, as the human soul appears in dreaming; and thought in himself that he was the great father of created beings in time to come.
