The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

असंभवादसंवित्तेर्ब्रह्मात्मैकतयाथवा ।
को मोक्षः को विचारश्चेत्यलं भेदविकल्पनैः ॥ ५९ ॥

ko mokṣaḥ ko vicāraścetyalaṃ bhedavikalpanaiḥ || 59 ||

Rama said:—If consciousness is self-same with Brahma, and our consciousness of ourselves as Brahma, make us identic with Brahma Himself; then what is the use of devising a duality of the soul (as the divine and human souls), or of talking of the liberation and final absorption of the one in the other?
