The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.67.57

मातृमेयप्रमाणादि यदा ब्रह्मैव वेदनात् ।
तदातिवाहिकोक्तीनां कः प्रसङ्गस्तदेव तत् ॥ ५७ ॥

mātṛmeyapramāṇādi yadā brahmaiva vedanāt |
tadātivāhikoktīnāṃ kaḥ prasaṅgastadeva tat || 57 ||

As measure and dimensions are foreign, to our notion of Brahma—the all conscious soul, so are they quite apart from that of the spirit also, which is no more than the motive power of the soul.
