The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.67.41

उल्लासफुल्लो फुल्लाङ्ग इति बालहृदि स्फुटम् ।
यथोदेति तथोदेति परे ब्रह्मणि जीवता ॥ ४१ ॥

ullāsaphullo phullāṅga iti bālahṛdi sphuṭam |
yathodeti tathodeti pare brahmaṇi jīvatā || 41 ||

Vasishtha replied:—Too incredible is this form and without a parallel, which sprang of itself from its own essence. It is altogether inconceivable how some thing is produced of its own conception.
