The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यच्चेत्यते तदितरद्व्यतिरिक्तं चितोऽस्ति न ।
किंचिन्नास्तीतिसंशान्त्या चितः शाम्यति चेतनं ॥ ११ ॥

yaccetyate taditaradvyatiriktaṃ cito'sti na |
kiṃcinnāstītisaṃśāntyā citaḥ śāmyati cetanaṃ || 11 ||

There is nothing beside the Intellect except the thoughts on which it dwells; and its sensations are all at rest, as it comes to know the nihility of objects.
