The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अहंभावो हि दिक्कालव्यवच्छेदी कृताकृतिः ।
स्वयं संकल्पवशतो वातस्पन्द इव स्फुरन् ॥ १५ ॥

ahaṃbhāvo hi dikkālavyavacchedī kṛtākṛtiḥ |
svayaṃ saṃkalpavaśato vātaspanda iva sphuran || 15 ||

Egoism differentiates the soul from our ideas of space and time, and stirs within it like the breath of winds, by reason of its subjectivity of thoughts.
