The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.61.16

तदेदावनितां वेत्ति स्वचित्तैकात्मतामयीम् ।
अन्तःस्थगन्धतन्मात्रामुर्वी स्थैर्यकलामिव ॥ १६ ॥

tadedāvanitāṃ vetti svacittaikātmatāmayīm |
antaḥsthagandhatanmātrāmurvī sthairyakalāmiva || 16 ||

The same is condensed in the form of a solid substance, which is the same with the Divine Mind. This becomes the earth bearing in its bosom the property of smell.
