The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.61.15

तदेवं जलतां याति निजसत्तात्मिकां स्वयम् ।
अन्तःस्थितास्वादलवां सलिलं द्रवतामिव ॥ १५ ॥

tadevaṃ jalatāṃ yāti nijasattātmikāṃ svayam |
antaḥsthitāsvādalavāṃ salilaṃ dravatāmiva || 15 ||

The light then melts into water as the self-same substance of itself; and this fluid substance contains in it the property of taste.
