The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.61.4

कटकत्वं पृथग्हेम्नस्तरङ्गत्वं पृथग्जलात् ।
यथा न संभवत्येवं न जगत्पृथगीश्वरात् ॥ ४ ॥

kaṭakatvaṃ pṛthaghemnastaraṅgatvaṃ pṛthagjalāt |
yathā na saṃbhavatyevaṃ na jagatpṛthagīśvarāt || 4 ||

As the quality of a bracelet is not different from its substance of gold, nor that of a wave from the water; so the expansion of the world, is not distinct from the spirit of God.
