The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.60.15

इति मे भगवन्बूहि त्वं यथावदनुग्रहात् ।
सकृच्छ्रुतं न विश्रान्तिमेति लोष्टे यथा जलम् ॥ १५ ॥

iti me bhagavanbūhi tvaṃ yathāvadanugrahāt |
sakṛcchrutaṃ na viśrāntimeti loṣṭe yathā jalam || 15 ||

Please sir, kindly tell me this, because little hearing is not sufficient to me, as a drop of water is not enough to moisten the dry soil or the parched ground of summer heat.
