The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यदुदयविशदं विदग्धमुग्धं समुचितमात्महितं च पेशलं च ।
तदखिलजनतोषदं स्वराज्यं चिरमनुपाल्य सुदंपती विमुक्तौ ॥ १८ ॥

yadudayaviśadaṃ vidagdhamugdhaṃ samucitamātmahitaṃ ca peśalaṃ ca |
tadakhilajanatoṣadaṃ svarājyaṃ ciramanupālya sudaṃpatī vimuktau || 18 ||

The happy pair having reigned jointly, over their delightful realm of ever increasing population, and which was graced by learned men and righteous people, knowing their own rights and duties of doing good to all mankind, became freed from the burden of their state affairs for ever.
