The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जीवन्मुक्तास्त इत्येवं राज्यं वर्षायुताष्टकम् ।
कृत्वा विदेहमुक्तत्वमासेदुः सिद्धसंविदः ॥ १७ ॥

jīvanmuktāsta ityevaṃ rājyaṃ varṣāyutāṣṭakam |
kṛtvā videhamuktatvamāseduḥ siddhasaṃvidaḥ || 17 ||

They reigned on earth, in their state of living liberation for myriads of years; and then receiving the perfect knowledge of the holy Siddhas, they became wholly liberated after their deaths.
