The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.58.19

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
आवां तावदिमे लीला पश्यत्वित्येव चिन्तिते ।
ज्ञप्त्या देव्या ततस्तत्र दृश्ये दीप्ते बभूवतुः ॥ १९ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
āvāṃ tāvadime līlā paśyatvityeva cintite |
jñaptyā devyā tatastatra dṛśye dīpte babhūvatuḥ || 19 ||

Vasishtha said:—So saying, they wished themselves to be perceived by the wilful Lila, and stood manifest to her sight in their etherial forms of the goddess and her inspired dame.
