The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.57.45

अस्पन्दस्य यथा वायोः सस्पन्दोऽन्तर्विशत्यलम् ।
अनन्यात्मा तथैवायं स्वप्नार्थः संविदो मलम् ॥ ४५ ॥

aspandasya yathā vāyoḥ saspando'ntarviśatyalam |
ananyātmā tathaivāyaṃ svapnārthaḥ saṃvido malam || 45 ||

As the motion of the air mixes with the fixed ether, so the dreams and desires which we are conscious of, set in the unchanging soul whence they have their rise.
