The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यच्चित्तं तन्मयो जन्तुर्भवतीत्यनुभूतयः ।
सदेहेषु विदेहेषु न भवत्यन्यथा क्वचित् ॥ २८ ॥

yaccittaṃ tanmayo janturbhavatītyanubhūtayaḥ |
sadeheṣu videheṣu na bhavatyanyathā kvacit || 28 ||

Whatever is in the heart and mind, the same notions form the nature of living beings; and whether these are in their corporeal or incorporeal states, they think themselves as such beings and no other.
