The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.56.21

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
तस्य स्ववासनान्तःस्थशवस्य किल राघव ।
तत्सर्वं हृद्गतं कस्मान्नासौ प्राप्नोति तद्गृहम् ॥ २१ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
tasya svavāsanāntaḥsthaśavasya kila rāghava |
tatsarvaṃ hṛdgataṃ kasmānnāsau prāpnoti tadgṛham || 21 ||

Vasishtha replied:—The tomb of the dead body of the prince, being impressed in his soul, and the object of its desire; led his spirit insensibly to it, as if it were by its inborn instinct.
